I can't ever seem to get a break. I just spent 6 days stuck in Army Open House and ended up getting accused of paedophilia and an overdone tan. Now, I'm caught up in the rush to get my applications to those hallowed halls of learning in. Second time round, mind you. Sigh.

Anyways, as I was struggling to get my application essays out, I managed to dig out some of my past writings. It's absolutely uncanny. This year-plus in the army has just stripped me bare of my past skills in wielding my veritable vocabulary. I am in no position to replicate that level of performance. Maradona, my heart goes out to ya.

PSC 2004 on TV now. I think it's too contrived. Celebrities pulling stunts that (let's admit it) barely make us squirm the way Fear Factor stunts do. And it says a lot about us, how the President himself has to get pretty people to prance around so that the rest of us ugly ones will empty our pockets for the real stars.

Well, it's been one week to remember. Two orderly duties, one 14km cycle/run and a late night at Zouk. It's too easy to dance up to a stranger, and too hard to shake away the memory of what you two did.

Well. Back to "Your Personal Statement".
